Description

egoraptor and matpat made videos where they compare ocarina of time with the link to the past.
honestly I have never played ocarina of time so I will not say anything.but I have played link to the past and I believe this game is freaking overrated.
when nintendo made the link to the past they focused more in the quantity of the items and power ups and less in the quality.
some of the non optional items were useless garbage, and some of the optional items actually were good.the problem with this game is that it blackmails me that if I don't do research I will have really hard time.the first time I played it I didn't know where I could upgrade my shield and turn it to red shield. and I died all the time.
in my oppinion the worst item in the game was the ice rod.this NON OPTIONAL item,is absolutely necessary to take own one boss.and it wasn't even inside the dungeon, when I faced the boss I had no idea how to damage it.after checking the internet I learnt that I had to get out of the dungeon travel to the other corner of the game, place a bomb in the mountain so I can obtain the ice rod and go back to the dungeon and kill the boss.also do you know what the ice rod does against common enemies?if they are too weak they die other wise they cannot move for a few seconds, with other words it does the exact same job with my boomerang.my boomerang is way better item than the icerod because it does not require magic,it can attack diagonally it cuts grass and helps me grab items from distance.
with other words the ice rod is garbage.

any way link to the past has more flaws than that.I will not mention them here.

Well, frozen enemies stay frozen forever, plus, once you get the hammer, you can smash frozen enemies for an almost guaranteed magic drop (yes, big jars, too) easily making returns on magic investment.
